Why should pets receive vaccinations?

Puppies and kittens are exposed to infectious diseases early in life. Therefore, they should receive vaccinations before they are exposed. In puppies, vaccinations can start from six weeks in age and in kittens, from eight weeks of age. In special cases, vaccination may start earlier than this age. Normally, your pet will receive a series of injections to complete primary vaccination. Rabies vaccine may be administered starting three months of age.
