Hookworms

Lots of bloody diarrhea lately due to HOOKWORMS in dogs. Make sure to have your pups de-wormed regularly, OR, have their feces checked regularly (monthly) to be sure. The latter is the cheaper option.

Hookworm eggs appear in the feces two weeks after infection. These worms can cause tarry (bloody) stool, anemia, and weakness.
