Where to Walk Your Dog in Puerto Princesa?

Walking with your dog is a beneficial activity. Not only for you, but also for your pet. You may do it in your own area but it's also good to be able to meet fellow dog owners. Also, your dog may enjoy more, being in a new environment.

PPC Baywalk

1. Puerto Baywalk
It's relatively safe and the area is large. But, there are no trees there! So no shade at all. Only go there early morning or late afternoon.
It's the reclaimed area near the pier. If you live in the City Proper, it's the nearest open space. To go there, you find Malvar Street. It's at the back of Holy Trinity University.

2. Sports Complex
I don't think dogs are allowed inside the fenced area, but you may use the service roads around the complex. The area is rolling so it may be a bit challenging. There are lots of trees but with the heat here you better come early or late.

3. Airport Parking Lot
There are working dogs in that area, GS and Malanois, but I rarely see them walked leisurely. The area is adequate but there's a lot of activity when airlines arrive.

That's our list for now. Remember to bring water for you and for your dog. Enjoy!

Whiskers

A dog's whiskers are touch-sensitive hairs called vibrissae.

They are found on the muzzle,

above the eyes, and

below the jaws and can

actually sense tiny changes in air flow.
